I am sad to say that this morning my parents made the difficult decision of putting our family dog, Maggie to sleep. She was such a loyal and and loving dog. We had her for over 12 years, she was diagnosed with cancer 3 years ago and stayed strong up until a few months ago. She will be missed.

It's official. I am 28.
I had my 28th birthday this past Saturday. I cannot believe how time flies. It is my 28th which means we have lived in this house for 3 years now, which also means, Ryan has 3 more years to go. So.... One day and many milestones :) Anyway, my mother in law (MIL) sent some gifts to the house and since she was not here when I opened them, we took pictures. Thanks P!! I love the Vera! I also wanted to thank all the other friends, and family who sent cards, emailed, and called. I am loved!! Thank you!!

This is Wrigley after a bath. I love how she runs around the house,
like a crazy dog!
Ribfest 2008
Yes, this past weekend, we hosted The first annual Ribfest 2008. It was quite the ordeal :) We had 8 contenders who brought their ribs cooked just the way the "like em". Ryan and I supplied all the other "fixins". The winner received a trophy and a bucket full of grillin' items. It was a last minute idea, so hopefully next year we can send out the invitations a little more in advance :) We would love some "Indiana Competition". Here are the few pics I have from the event.

The winner, his wife was a judge, and his son was handing out the trophies that he made?
Coincidence?!
Danamal: Prepping for the contest.
He came in third place, and it was the first time he had ever cooked ribs.
With the help of his wife, Leena :)

A weekend with the Riggles :)
A few weekends ago, Ryan and I headed down/over? To visit Eric, Kristi, Austin and Emily. We arrived later than we had hoped, but just in time to watch Emily's softball game and then head downtown for the Indians VS. the Reds. Our seats were awesome, we were so close to Ken Griffy Jr. and of course we had a lot of action from the stands. It turned out to be an awesome day for 2 games! Here are some of the festivities:
"Boys Weekend"
We are alive and well!!
We are still here, breathing and living - No worries. I took a "break" from the updates only because I am in school and it was really stressful so.... I am back, and I have some photos to share with some of the things we have been up to this summer.
