Snow, Snow, Snow!

This past weekend, Detroit was hit by a huge snowstorm. It started late Saturday night and did not stop until Sunday around noon. These are some pictures of Ryan using my dad's old snow blower, CIRCA 1952. Wrigley LOVES the snow she also thought it was a free for all. Someone who had stayed at our neighbor's house was trying to get into her car, Wrigley decided it would be fun to try and get into the car too. She is VERY friendly :)

Ryan tweaking with the snow blower.

Wrigley received a Christmas present from her cousin, Clover. Thanks Clover as you can tell by my picture I LOVE IT! :)

This looks kind of shady however, this is a "Mavis" tradition. This is called Pancake Puff and it is soooo good. So while we were snowed in I made it for Ryan. He loved it too. Here is the recipe.

Pancake Puff:
You need:
2 Eggs
1/2 C. flour
1/2 C. Milk
3 T. Butter
Pinch of Cinnamon
Powdered Sugar

Melt butter in a 9 inch pie plate while you are pre heating the oven to 425. Mix flour, eggs, milk and cinnamon in a bowl, leaving batter a bit lumpy. Pour mixture over melted butter into the pie plate. Bake for 20 minutes or until golden and puffy. Sift powdered sugar on top, and ENJOY.

Season's Greetings

The month of December has been a very busy month for us. We were lucky enough to be invited to many holiday gatherings and celebrations. We had 3 holiday parties with Ryan's work and the China Box party with Ryan's softball team. These are a few pictures of all the festivities. :)

We Were Elfed!

Ryan's Dad Elfed Us! This is so funny and had us laughing for hours.
I really did not think that was even our dog. But it is, she fooled me with her "new moves".

Ang's 30th!

Our good friend Ang. celebrated her 30th birthday. I wanted to post some pictures from her big day, because it was sooo fun. Her husband, Chris surprised her with a huge dinosaur in their front yard. Ang also had decorated the whole garage it looked awesome! They even had a singer! Gringo!

A Recap of October and November

This past October we had two more weddings to attend. One wedding was here in Michigan, a co - worker of Ryan's. The other as most of you know was my brother's wedding in Ft. Wayne. I wanted to post a few pictures from both of these beautiful days.

The other few pictures are from our Thanksgiving. This year it was so nice to just relax, hang out and not drive too much. Here are a few pictures of how I spent the day, Ryan stayed in Michigan to work on Friday. There were many games going on, and a new addition to Chip and Jen's family. KONA!! She is such a good puppy, she held her own to the 3 other dogs :)
