Snow, Snow, Snow!

This past weekend, Detroit was hit by a huge snowstorm. It started late Saturday night and did not stop until Sunday around noon. These are some pictures of Ryan using my dad's old snow blower, CIRCA 1952. Wrigley LOVES the snow she also thought it was a free for all. Someone who had stayed at our neighbor's house was trying to get into her car, Wrigley decided it would be fun to try and get into the car too. She is VERY friendly :)

Ryan tweaking with the snow blower.

Wrigley received a Christmas present from her cousin, Clover. Thanks Clover as you can tell by my picture I LOVE IT! :)

This looks kind of shady however, this is a "Mavis" tradition. This is called Pancake Puff and it is soooo good. So while we were snowed in I made it for Ryan. He loved it too. Here is the recipe.

Pancake Puff:
You need:
2 Eggs
1/2 C. flour
1/2 C. Milk
3 T. Butter
Pinch of Cinnamon
Powdered Sugar

Melt butter in a 9 inch pie plate while you are pre heating the oven to 425. Mix flour, eggs, milk and cinnamon in a bowl, leaving batter a bit lumpy. Pour mixture over melted butter into the pie plate. Bake for 20 minutes or until golden and puffy. Sift powdered sugar on top, and ENJOY.
